The scan uses two photos (front and side), on-device person segmentation and your height to estimate circumferences. Expect roughly ±3 cm on waist, hip and thigh. All numbers are estimates for tracking your own trend, not medical measurements, and Fitoon tells you so in the app.
By default the photos are processed on your iPhone and deleted right after the scan. Only the resulting numbers and shape parameters are saved to your account. You can opt in to keep photos (privately, encrypted, for better accuracy) and delete them at any time.
Only if you share it. Everything you share is the cartoon, never a real photo. Stats on shared videos and cards are hidden by default and you turn each one on yourself.
Yes, with your permission. Fitoon can read weight, steps, workouts, sleep and water, and can write the weights and meals you log. Apple Health data is never used for advertising and never shared with third parties.
Yes. The food database starts from the Standard Tables of Food Composition in Japan (日本食品標準成分表) plus about 1,500 curated everyday Japanese dishes with standard portions: ramen, gyudon, karaage, onigiri, curry rice and more. A curated global dish list covers English users.
Yes. Both paid plans are billed through Apple. Cancel from the iPhone Settings app under Subscriptions, and you keep your plan until the end of the current period. The 7-day free trial on either plan can be cancelled before it ends at no charge.
AI credits are what Pochi spends to read, think and reply. Every message uses some; photos and long conversations use more than short text logs. Plus includes 3,000 credits a month and Pro 15,000. The budget resets at the start of each month and unused credits do not roll over.
No. Fitoon is a wellness and lifestyle app, not a medical device. Calorie, body-fat and measurement figures are estimates, and Pochi never gives diagnosis, treatment or medication advice. Talk to a doctor before changing your diet if you have a medical condition.
Adults 18 and over. Age is checked during onboarding. Fitoon also keeps goals in a healthy range: a daily calorie floor, a maximum loss rate of about 1% of body weight per week and no goal weight below a BMI of 18.5.
The app supports Japanese and English, and Pochi answers in the language you write in. This website is available in Japanese and English too.
Fitoon is an iPhone app. The two-photo scan works on any iPhone running iOS 18 or later; iPhone Pro models will get LiDAR-assisted depth for better accuracy in a later update.
In the app, open Settings and tap Delete account. Your account closes right away and your sign-in details, profile, photos and Pochi's memories are deleted; the Delete your account page lists what is kept. If you cannot access the app, email
[email protected] from the address linked to your account and we will do it for you.
Settings → Your data → Export gives you a JSON and CSV copy of your profile, weights, scans, meals and chat history.
Open the invite link again after installing the app so it opens Fitoon directly, or enter the code when you create your account. A code can only be added at sign-up, and your friend earns bonus coins once you join.
Every nutrition app estimates. Pochi matches your description to a food database and falls back to an AI estimate when there is no good match, and it always marks estimates as such. Trends over weeks matter far more than any single number.
When a result changes implausibly (more than about 4 cm in a week) Fitoon blends it with your previous scan and asks you to try again. Good light, fitted clothes and a phone placed at hip height on a steady surface give the best results.
Yes. Settings → Show weight lets you hide the number everywhere and track shape and habits only.
